Pinnacle Pointe Is More Than Just Another School
There are some in our society who believe school should be intense place of only academic learning. At Pinnacle Pointe we agree with the intensity part, but we do not limit the learning to just academics. We believe a student is only fully prepared after after they have been involved in a broad range of rich school experiences, not just learning information communicated in a book. Our culture openly acknowledges that our passion for excellence in athletics and the arts, along with our zeal in providing experiences where life-long relationships and memories can be created, is equal to our commitment to academic achievement. It's a culture anchored in the core belief that a motivated student, who wants to be here, will learn!
This year's Stations will feature presentations highlighting our theme, Be A Moment or BAM! Our lives are made up of moments that when connected reveal who we are and determine what our lives look like. This process doesn’t begin at a certain age, it starts the day we are born.
Lunchtime is expanded for a week each quarter and students compete in class challenges during Panther Weeks. The week concludes with a Friday Family Event where parents have the opportunity to participate in all the fun.
Student Government (STUGO) is made up of two 4th-6th grade students elected by students and two selected from each 4th-6th grade by administration. The President and Vice President are determined by school administration. STUGO members must maintain a 'B' average (with no 'D's and 'F's) and are responsible for planning, promoting and participating in various school activities and organizing and leading various aspects of Pinnacle Cares.
Leave Your MARK
Character development is at the very core of Pinnacle Pointe's culture. It's woven throughout the curriculum, encouraged in athletics, arts and activities and demonstrated during Pinnacle Cares events. Students are challenged to realize that every thought, every word and every action is leaving their MARK.
Make and Impact - Become a person who serves others.
Accept New Challenges - Become a person who takes risks.
Release Positivity - Become a person who encourages others.
Keep Your Focus - Become a person who makes good decisions.
